Katrina Kaif's Agneepath item song has been getting rave reviews...
We had revealed earlier that Kat's item song from Agneepath has been based on the hit Marathi song 'Kombdi Palali' from Jatra.
Its now confirmed that the song is indeed based on the Marathi track, tune being the same, just the lyrics have been changed.
So is it as engaging as the original?
Katrina Kaif gyrating seductively in a koli attire, kashta et all, moving on the desi beats, movements and expressions in sync with the lyrics, we think Katrina has pulled it off quite well.
The video has been liked not only by her fans but also those who are not much fond of the actress otherwise.
45 year Mumbai housewife, Surekha Parab says, "Chikni Chameli is better than Sheila for sure. Katrina has danced better and the song has better rhythm than the former."
28 year old Ashish another Mumbaikar says, "Kombdi Palali in marathi movie Jatra was a super track. The hindi remake is not bad either, just the singing in the Marathi version is better."
The song has been getting great hits on Youtube too.
