As the London Fashion Week comes to a close, we bring you some stunning moments from the fashion extravaganza.
London Fashion Week that has traditionally been seen as a playground for quirky designers to show off their talent, seems to have finally grown beyond that image.
As the autumn/winter 2012 season came to an end, it seemed clear that edgy had indeed given way to sophisticated.
"We used to come here and think it's all going to be eccentric and street chic and actually it's incredibly grown up, polished and sexy, glamorous clothes so it's a global stage now -- it's wonderful," US Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour was quoted as telling news agency Reuters.
In the pages to follow, we bring you some of the most breathtaking moments from the London Fashion Week. Keep clicking!

Models walk the ramp for Mary Katrantzou during London Fashion Week
For her 2012 Autumn/Winter collection Mary Katrantzou sought inspiration from everyday objects -- from old typewriters to phone dials and spoons to pencils, Katrantzou's collection ranged from yellow to pink and muave to mint green.

When models walked for Robyn Coles Millinery Autumn/Winter 2012 show, Coles' hats were certainly not the focus of attention. The show was unconventional indeed though, we aren't quite sure how much it did for the art of millenery.

Sticking to his trademark style, Osman's latest line was also minimalist. Osman was the designer behind Mango's hit LBD collection in 2008. Unlike some of the other designers who love being outlandish, Osman's collection was elegant and beautiful. As a fashion critic remarked, "The man knows what makes women look good." Going by this picture, we couldn't agree more!

Burberry's designer Christopher Bailey told Telegraph that he loved the melancholy of rain and found rainy days more emotive than the sunny ones.
"Sometimes it makes you stop and do interesting things," he told the newspaper, "I like taking all these cliches and these very familiar things and playing with them a little bit. Because behind every cliche I think there is usually something a bit more profound."

Few designers make men look good. We'd say Burberry leads the list.

And then came Alexander McQueen, the designers to Kate Middleton! Need we say more?

Talking of the Duchess of Cambridge, meet Gabriella Douglass, the lookalike of Britain's Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, (R) and Hannah Williams, the lookalike of Catherine's younger sister Pippa Middleton as they wear dresses by The Rodnik Band label as they pose for a photo during London Fashion Week. The publicity stunt was orchestrated by photographer Alison Jackson, who is well known for her photographs of look-alike actors in humorous scenarios.

As models walked to Madonna and ABBA soundtracks, Meadham Kirchhoff brightened up the ramp, quite literally, with their boleros, waistcoats, cropped trousers and babydoll dresses.
