Salman Khan last worked with rumoured ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif in 2008 for Subhash Ghai’s Yuvvraaj. After almost five years, the duo is now working on another romantic film — Ek Tha Tiger. Bring up their pairing and Salman says, “It has been fantastic working with Katrina after such a long time.”
At the launch of History Channel’s new show History Har Din in the city on Friday, the actor, who is the face of the channel, goes on to joke about his relationship with his co-star in his inimitable style. “I’m working with Katrina, so that’s history been created right there,” he says, in jest.
Though both the actors have recently returned to the country after completing a long shooting schedule of the Kabir Khan film in Cuba, Salman still has some patchwork pending. “It’s a romantic movie, but it has lots of action and I have a few days of work left,” he says, adding that he would love to revisit Cuba soon. “It’s a fantastic place to shoot at. I went to many places during my stay and I would love to go back for leisure.”
Meanwhile, he is also preparing to begin work on Dabangg 2, the sequel to his 2010 box-office hit. “I am going to start shooting for that on March 9,” says the actor, who will be directed by older brother Arbaaz Khan this time.
Sonakshi Sinha will reprise her role as Salman’s love interest in the film, and Prakash Raj has been roped in to play the villain.
